Kick-off with all six Film in Hospital partners in Barcelona, Spain

From 6 until 9 september 2022, all six Film in Hospital partners met each other again in Barcelona (Spain) for three days filled with brainstorms, film proposals, discussions on research and much more to prepare the next two years of Film in Hospital! Our meetings took place in the beautiful building of Centre Cívic Convent de Sant Agustí where everybody had the pleasure of meeting the team of Pack Màgic, our Spanish partner.

These three days of hard work were essential for the construction of our action plan to reach Film in Hospital’s goals. By 2024, we do not only want to define general criteria for a concept of selecting ‘Responsible AV Engaging content’, but also upgrade our VOD-platform with heritage titles. In that way, we improve the understanding of European film history and common European history, we connect generations with shared movie experiences and we enrich young audiences with different approaches to storytelling. And finally, we made decisions on the research we will be conducting about how our project adds to the wellbeing of children in hospitals. We’re proud to announce that this research will be administered by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
